Hi, I’m Jess
I’m glad you’re here. We are meeting because we need to, the world needs more Social & Kind.
We all want our children to develop friendships and gain confidence in establishing positive social interactions. I know you may be here because you are looking for resources and tools to use to bring out the strengths in yourself and children.
I know what struggle, disconnection and dysregulation looks like in our children. I also know when you as parents are feeling vulnerable. I love emotion and what it can teach us. I believe in candid conversations. I am committed to the resilience that lies in us and between us.
I deny labels for our children. I believe in the power of integrated treatments involving the whole child. I develop an individualized plan drawing from both eastern and western science. I incorporate theme based learning in a motivational environment to help children develop skills and generalize them into all areas of their lives. I collaborate with parents, educators and anyone else in the child’s life to promote consistency, and support progress towards their goals.
Let’s create possibilities. Together we can find the power of kindness, connection and resilience.
SERVICES
Social Skills for Kids & Teens
I truly believe in the power of a child making a friend and establishing a relationship with someone. Step back and think about your friends and how much they mean to you. Someone who “has your back” and laughs with you will no doubt make life more full and happy.
Holistic Health, Yoga and Meditation
Connecting your mind and body is an important skill to teach children. There are many benefits for children to practice yoga and mindfulness. Additionally, I teach about healthy foods and the necessities of treating the whole body. These resources if accessed can lead to more success, kindness, connection, and resilience.
Family & Parent Training
It takes resilience, patience and a lot of love to be a parent. It is one of the hardest things you will do but also one of the most rewarding. We all need guidance to help our children. Let’s start with self-compassion.
