Jess has the special ability to connect with people where they are. Parents, teachers and kids love her. She has a wealth of information gained from years of formal education and more importantly direct work with kids to share with parents and teachers. She is knowledgeable, encouraging and direct. I have seen Jess connect deeply with kids of differing ages and ability levels. Jess’s love of life and people in general is evident in seeing her work with kids. Jess is able to engage kids and the kids respond. Jess encourages communication through play and meaningful social interactions that is really quite remarkable. Jess is a real treasure.

I first met Jess at MY GYM where I’d bring my 3 yr. old with Autism. She was assisting another toddler with Autism. Watching her administer spot-on, accurate therapy for this child, I had to have her in our life. Since then, my son and that same toddler have been best of friends and are now attending junior high together. Jess was a rare-find and I have never come across another therapist with her unique methods and real world teaching skills. She is loving, kind and a true life child whisperer in the ASD world.

Jess has been such a blessing to our daughter...our whole family. She works with G to help her understand and deal with her adolescent emotions made more difficult with language processing delays. She also supports her socially and helps her make friends and be a good friend. She teaches us, her family so we can continue with the lessons and feel empowered. I am certain our daughter would not be doing as well as she is if Jess wasn’t part of “Team G.

Jess relates to my children on the autism spectrum with such a great knowledge of what they are going through and how to help them problem solve it all. She has worked on everything from flexible vs. rigid thinking, social perspective taking, social language skills, sensory regulation and empathy. Her out of the box thinking doesn’t limit our children to an office environment. She believes in a hands on approach in the world that they live in to practice in every environment. We are truly grateful for finding Jess and teaching not only our children but teaching us as parents about autism and ways to navigate through this complicated journey.

Jess gets it. She understands our son and his beautiful strengths and deficits. She cares and goes beyond any expectations we had. She will give you tools as a parent, tools for your child, tools for the teacher. She will be your shoulder to cry on, your eyes and ears at school, an advocate for your child. She is truly amazing. She is an angel on earth for these wonderful, very special children that do not quite fit in the box and need her help to make their way in this world. We are so grateful.

Jess has been a huge asset to my boys since they were 2 years old and they are 15 now. Jess helps give your child the tools to feel successful in all relationships. Having Jess with the kids at an early age has given me and my boys the confidence to get through even the toughest of situations.
